In 2022 Protech joined the Race to Zero and stated its intention to become Net-Zero across both Scope 1 & Scope 2 measurements by 2028, and are on target to significantly better this goal.
As a business Protech has already demonstrated dedication and commitment to achieve this with strategic targets, assessments policies and planning along with commitments from the Board of Directors.

All measurements have been made using the industry recognised Science Based Targets and SME Climate Hub of which Protech is an affiliated member.
Following its statement of intent in 2022 Protech have already completed/achieved:
Revitalising Office space with an intent to reduce Energy consumption
What we have achieved so far
- Directly Planted 1500 UK Native species Trees to provide direct environmental benefits.
- Reduced Business mileage through policy and planning
- Direct energy use monitoring and associated reduction.
- Certification to ISO 14001 for the reduction of waste and associated environmental controls.
- The partial electrification of the business fleet.
- Protech has already demonstrated substantial commitment and success and is currently measured as performing 75% lower in relation to Carbon emissions than the average within its industry.
